This Privacy Policy describes how our mobile application (the "App") handles information for our single-day scavenger hunt event. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent experience.

1. Information We Collect (and What We Don’t)

Our App is designed for a specific event and does not require you to create an account or provide traditional personal identifiers.

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or login credentials.

• Team PIN: Access is granted solely through a pre-assigned Team PIN. This PIN is used to identify your team’s progress and submissions during the event.

• User-Generated Content: The App collects photos or videos that you choose to submit as part of the event tasks.

2. Device Permissions

To participate in the event, the App requires the following permissions:

• Camera/Video: Used to capture and submit photos or videos for specific challenges.

• Location Services: Used to tag submitted photos with geographic coordinates so they can be displayed on an event map. This data is only captured at the moment of submission. This infomation will only be visible by app owner and designated admins to facility the event.

• Storage/Media Gallery: Used only if you choose to upload a previously taken photo rather than capturing a live one within the App.

3. Data Usage and Sharing

Data collected (PIN, location tags, and media) is used exclusively for the administration of the event, such as:

• Verifying completed tasks.

• Populating a live event map for participants and organizers.

• Determining event winners.

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Because this App is designed for a single-day event, we do not retain your data indefinitely. User Data is typically stored only for the duration of the event and the immediate scoring period thereafter. 

5. Media Ownership and Licensing

All photos and videos captured and submitted through the App remain the intellectual property of the original photographer. However, by submitting media through the App, you grant Realty One Group Dockside a royalty-free, perpetual, and unlimited license to use, reproduce, and distribute these materials. This includes, but is not limited to, use in marketing materials, social media, and other shared digital or print mediums related to the event and company branding.

6. Your Consent

By entering your Team PIN and using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in this policy.
